Philippines Typhoon

UPDATE: $6532.11 raised (matching included). Donations are now closed for this cause.
You can still donate to NonProfit Action for future causes here

On November 8, 2013 Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) struck several islands in the Philippines. According to local officials and the Philippine Red Cross, 10000 are presumed dead in the city of Tacloban alone. According to UN officials, 11 million people have been affected, many being left homeless. HAIYAN-INFO-14NOV.v3

While is being created, NonProfit Action is supporting Tom’s fundraising. It is going to be active until mid-December.
Funds raised will be sent to The Philippine Red Cross and UNICEF. The convenience is that the final amount is going to be matched by his employer, so if you donate €20 they will become €40!

How you can help:
– €35 can provide portable dressing kits for more than 50 people
– €65 can send a doctor to the field for a day
– €175 can provide infection-fighting antibiotics for 100 injured people
– €450 can supply a full emergency health kit for over 200 people

You can donate using Paypal using the button below (or credit cards if you don’t have a Paypal account, check the bottom left link on the Paypal donation page). Cash or bank transfer are available options as well.
